Portable Generator Connection Program
Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative is offering members the opportunity to install a GenerLink™ transfer switch for use with portable generators. A GenerLink installs behind your electric meter and provides a connection point for a portable generator. When utility power is unavailable, the transfer switch allows power from your generator to be supplied to your home's electrical system while preventing electricity from backfeeding onto CCEC's electric distribution system. Before a GenerLink can be installed, CCEC must inspect your existing meter base to verify compatibility.
