Occasionally, Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative members report scams by individuals falsely posing as cooperative employees. Here are some tips you can utilize to protect yourself.

• If you are contacted by someone claiming to be a CCEC employee, verify it by contacting us at (541) 332-3931, the telephone number listed on your bill. 
• If you receive a suspicious call claiming to be Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative, please file a report with the FCC. 
• If you are approached by someone claiming to work for CCEC, ask to see identification or call our offices to verify their identity.
