How Paperless Billing Works

Members can sign up online through the portal or by filling out the form below. After signing up, the associated account will be converted to paperless billing. Depending on the timing of registration, this may take up to a full billing cycle.  For convenience, members will receive a monthly statement via email with the billing statement.

Paperless billing brings plenty of benefits to members that make the switch.

  1. Convenience- members can quickly access their bill from any device or computer as soon as it is processed, day or night. There is no waiting for the mail to come. Members can simply log into their account on the portal anytime or use the free CCEC mobile app to view their bill. Members are also encouraged to sign up for the autopay option for even more simplicity.
  2. Save Money- Traditional paper bills require postage and time to coordinate all of the bills to go out to members. Members can participate in saving the cooperative money when switching to paperless which benefits the membership considerably.
  3. Reduce Carbon Footprint- When members go paperless, they are aiding in minimal waste and reducing the cooperative’s carbon footprint. 25% of paper waste in landfills is paper products. In addition, the average American consumes more than 700 pounds of paper each year.

2-ways to Sign Up:

Self Sign Up Through the Portal- Log in to the portal and select “Bill Notification” under the Billing and Payments dropdown toolbar. Change the billing method option to “E-Bill” and click submit.
