Southern District 1 & 2 At Large—Brookings and Harbor Areas 

Cheryl McMahan, Incumbent
Cheryl McMahan is a credentialed cooperative director, has a board leadership certificate, and more than 40 years of experience in the electric utility industry as an engineer, auditor, manager, and board member. She earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, a masters of business administration, and a doctorate of business administration in strategic management. Cheryl has also developed and taught online graduate courses in finance, economics, and strategic management.

Sue Gold
A long-time College and High School mathematics teacher, with BS and Masters Degrees, Sue Gold served on many boards including the Curry County Commission, and advocates for:
• Making decisions based on facts-listening to all viewpoints and focusing on CCEC members’ best interests
• Fiscal responsibility
• Transparency including open board meetings with members able to respectfully discuss concerns and ask questions
• Decisions advancing the CCEC main mission to provide reliable electricity at the best possible rate

 

District 4—Port Orford and Langlois Areas

Daryl Robison, Incumbent
After growing up in this area I served 4 years in the Military, and graduated from Portland State University with a Business Degree. I was employed by Coos Curry Electric Cooperative 22 years holding positions of, Cost Accountant, Purchasing Agent, Office Manager and Asst General Manager. As a Credentialed CCEC Director, Past President, I chaired the Audit Committee nine years. I advocate for financial integrity, lowest possible rates, and excellent service to our members.

Gayle Wilcox
I am a 35-year devoted Port Orford neighbor and own the successful local Sea Breeze Florist. I served as the Chief of the Port Orford Volunteer Fire Department and Port Orford Community Ambulance for many years. I continue volunteering on many Boards, awarded 50 Sea Breeze scholarships to Pacific High students, and donate to many other county organizations. I have extensive expertise in leadership, budgeting, personnel matters, and strategic organization planning.
