Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative (CCEC) is excited to announce its upcoming Member Appreciation Days- Brats & Kilowatts, a series of events dedicated to expressing gratitude for the continued support and trust of our valued members.
The events will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the following dates and locations:
• Monday, August 7 - Coquille
• Tuesday, August 8 - Gold Beach
• Wednesday, August 9 - Brookings
• Thursday, August 10 - Port Orford
Member Appreciation Days are an opportunity for CCEC to express our heartfelt appreciation to our incredible members. We have planned a variety of activities for all ages and interests, so there’s something for everyone to do.
Keith Buchhalter, the Marketing and Member Services Manager at CCEC, commented, " Our members are the heart of our cooperative, and we are excited to celebrate them at our annual Brats & Kilowatts event. This is a time for our community to come together, enjoy some food and fun, and learn more about the impact we have made together. We look forward to connecting with our members and hearing their stories."
Attendees can expect a variety of fun and educational activities at the event. Experts will be available to share their knowledge on energy efficiency and offer tips and guidance on how to save energy. Participants can also learn about member energy-efficiency rebates from CCEC’s partners, Comfort Ready Homes, and Trade Ally Network.
One of the highlights of the day will be the Safety City Demonstration, where members will have the chance to learn about electrical safety from the dedicated CCEC line crew. This demonstration is designed to increase the community's understanding of the important work that these professionals do to keep our power flowing smoothly and safely.
Beacon Broadband will also be joining us to showcase all the work they have been doing to bring members the high-speed fiber broadband experience. Members will have the chance to learn more about Beacon Broadband's high-speed internet, voice and video service, and the positive impact it will have on our cooperative community.
For those seeking friendly competition and camaraderie, corn hole boards will be available, allowing members to test their skills and enjoy the company of fellow cooperative enthusiasts. There will also be a variety of engaging activities designed specifically for children, ensuring that the event is a memorable experience for the whole family.
Member Appreciation Days is CCEC’s way of saying thank you to every member of our cooperative family. The event is free of charge, and we encourage all members to join us in this celebration. To ensure a fantastic experience for everyone, we kindly request attendees to RSVP by visiting our website at ccec.coop/member-appreciation for more information.
