RESIDENTIAL AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMP CONVERSION

Qualification
- Existing Site-Built and new (since on-site for occupancy) and existing manufactured homes are both eligible
- Homes must be occupied year-round; seasonal homes and homes with part-time occupancy are not eligible.
- Homes over 4500 sq. feet. may claim 2 units at the same address if all other qualifications are met.
- Only homes that are currently heated with an electric forced air furnace qualify for this rebate.
- Upgrades to existing air or ground source heat pump systems. conversions from/ additions to electric sonal, non-electric, or ductless systems do not qualify.
Rebate Amount
- $1,00 for each heat pump conversion from forced-air furnace to air-source heat pump.
- $1,200 for each heat pump conversion from forced-air furnace to variable-speed heat pump.
- Rebate(s) will not exceed 100% of the installed cost.
Before Installation: Pre-Approval
- There is no pre-approval needed for this rebate.
- Rebate applications must be submitted within six months of purchase/installation to qualify.
After Installation: Final Documentation
- Submit a completed application.
- final paid invoice from the licensed HVAC contractor including make and manufacturer information.
- AHRI Certificate (for each installed unit)
- FI a variable speed compressor is installed, documentation from the manufacturer detailing information regarding the variable speed of inverter technology (e.g. spec sheet or brochure) must be included.
- All required documentation must be included with the application for the rebate to be paid out.
Quality Assurance Inspection
- CCEC reserves the right to inspect installed products.
Rebate Payments
- Please allow 6-8 Weeks for payment after receipt of all required documentation.
- All rebates will be paid in the form of a credit to an active CCEC member account.
- Please ensure to specify the correct account number in your application to where credit should be applied.
