Back to School, Better Prepared
Making ends meet is harder than ever for families in our area, and back-to-school shopping can be a real strain. That's why Coos-Curry Electric Cooperative and Beacon Broadband's Community Involvement Committee are rallying members to help close that gap with our annual school supply drive running July and August.
This year, we're taking a more targeted approach, reaching out directly to schools across our service territory to ask what each school needs, because no two are the same.
Find Your School's Supply List
Donate supplies to schools across Coos and Curry counties. Choose a school that means most to you or contribute to several. Simply tag your donation with the school, and we'll deliver it where it's needed most.

General Suggestions
What strikes us most is that teachers and students aren't asking for much. The most commonly requested items like quality Ticonderoga pencils make the biggest impact on tight budgets.
If you're looking to donate without a specific school list, consider these essentials:
-
Pencils (Ticonderoga brand especially appreciated)
-
Erasers (high-quality, not cheap)
-
Pens (blue and black ballpoint)
-
Notebooks and composition books
-
Folders and dividers
-
Glue sticks and liquid glue
-
Highlighters
-
Colored pencils
-
Scissors (child-safe)
-
Sticky notes
-
Hand sanitizer
-
Tissues
-
Disinfecting wipes
High-quality supplies make a real difference when budgets are tight and turnaround times are short.
